royal heritage: Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte

Opening times: 
Open every day from March 15th, 2008 to November 9th, 2008 (inclusive) between 10am and 6pm.
From Monday to Friday the château is closed between 1pm and 2pm. 

On candlelit evenings, the château is open from 8pm every Saturday between May 3rd and October 11th, 2008 and on Friday in July and August 2008 (except on September 13th, 2008).

Events: 

- "XVIIth century Day" In Vaux-le-Vicomte:
relive in the château a "XVIIth century Day", with dressed feast and lunch on the grass whie enjoying musical and artistic interludes, on June 12th, 2008.
- The famous party of August, 15th and 16th 
In order to recreate the atmosphere of this party organised by Nicolas Fouquet, minister of finance of Louis XIV, various animations will be proposed to the visitors: diner on the terrace overhanging the castle and the gardens, open air theatre, fireworks in the gardens& 
- Open air opera: from September  11th to the 14th, 2008.
- Christmas Lights: from December 20th, 2008 to January 4th, 2009.

Opening times: 
Open every day, between 9.30am and 5pm from October to May and from June to September between 9.30am and 6pm except on Tuesdays and certain public holidays.

Getting there: 
By car from Disneyland Resort Paris: Motorway A4, A104 then A6. Approximately 65 kilometres. 
Ask for a car and driver directly to the tourist information.

Provins rempart

Getting there: by car from Disneyland® Resort Paris: road D 231. Approximately 60 Kilometers. 

Shows of falconry or chivalry to revisit Medieval legends; a visit of the famous Tour César or the Tithe Barn (Grange aux Dîmes) to immerse you in the atmosphere of Champagnes old regional fairs.

Events:
- Medieval Feast: the 14th and the 15th of June, one of the most famous medieval feast of France.
- Provins by Candlelight: Provins is lit up by more than 1 000 candles, on the 5th of July and the 2nd of August.
- Harvest Festival: August, 31st

Opening times: 
Open everyday from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm (to 5pm in winter season).
Close on Tuesdays and December, 25th; January 1st and May 1st.

Getting there: 
By car from Disneyland Resort Paris: 
Motorway: A4, A104 et A5

From April to October (on week-end and French bank holidays) shuttle from the train station of Melun.

Meaux's Historic Pageant

Inside the Episcopal city, 500 actors, dancers and horse-riders, as well as special effects, laser shows and fireworks, retrace more than 1,000 years of the towns history, creating a unique journey through time! From mid-June to mid-September : Friday or Saturday evenings.

Getting there: 
By car from Disneyland Resort Paris:  N 34 then D5 or Motorway A4. Approximately 15 kilometres.
A car and driver can be summoned on request from the Tourist Information Kiosk.
Regular links by coach between the bus station at Disneyland Resort Paris and Meaux (it is possible to make the return trip in a day).
